SEPTEMBER 2012: THE GRANGE WIND FARM IS TAKING SHAPE

There are exciting developments at The Grange Wind Farm as all of the site tracks and the ground improvement works are completed in readiness for continued works.

The site is really starting to take shape now with the control building nearing completion and roof works well underway before the autumnal weather is upon us.

Eagle-eyed residents may have seen the piliing rig which was recently mobilised to site to commence foundation piling. Turbines will arrive on site around Christmas time with a dry run of turbine blade delivery scheduled for mid-late October. If we continue on schedule, the erection of a first turbine is expected in January 2013.
