1 MARCH 2013: FIRST RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY GENERATED AT THE GRANGE

The Grange Wind Farm generated its first renewable electricity on Thursday 28 February 2013. The electricity flowed from turbine no.6 (T6) as the blades were allowed to turn for the first time. Testing will continue in order to bring all seven turbines fully on-line. The wind farm is on schedule to be completed and moved into full operation in April 2013.
