AUGUST 2013: FIRST COMMUNITY PROJECTS RECEIVE FUNDING FROM COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND

The first payments from The Grange Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund have been made and local groups are already benefitting.

Successful recipients of the first round of funding include:

• Tydd St Mary Pre-School, who received £4,000 to refurbish kitchen facilities
• Tydd St Giles Golf Club Ladies Captains Charity, who received £600 for Defibrilator training
• Gorefield Playing Field Association, who received £835.10 to fence the play area
• Tydd St Giles Parish Council, who received £5,000 for outdoor play equipment
