THE GRANGE WIND FARM

RES received consent to build the 7-turbine at The Grange Wind Farm in October 2010. The project entered construction in January 2012 and was completed, with all turbines reaching full operation, in April 2013.  

The 14MW wind farm is capable of generating sufficient renewable electricity to meet the annual requirements of more than 10,000 homes - which for comparison is equivalent to almost 27% of all homes in the South Holland District.

Wind power is a natural, home-grown and abundant source of energy. The Grange Farm Wind Farm will help protect our finite natural resources and make our energy supply more secure, reducing the need to rely increasingly on imports of foreign gas and oil.
